of Class | | ヒトの健康はヒューマンセキュリティにおける重要な側面であり、それを脅かす疾病として感染症は依然重要である。特に世界的に流行する可能性がある感染症が発生した際には、迅速な状況のアセスメントと国際社会の協調された対策が必要になる。本科目を通して感染症をヒューマンセキュリティという観点から学習する。
Health is one of key areas in human security and infectious disease remains one of major threats to human. During infectious disease outbreaks, rapid assessment as well as systematic response is utmost important in the international society. We study infectious diseases and those outbreaks with human security perspective. |

study | | ヒューマンセキュリティにおける感染症の位置づけを理解し、感染症アウトブレイクに関する一般的な知識を学びながらケーススタディなどを通して地域的あるいは国際的な対応に関する演習を行う。さらに感染制御やリスクコミュニケーションなどに関しても理解を深める。
- To understand how infectious diseases can be a threat for the human security
- To learn the basic concepts of communicable disease outbreak response and control
- To understand important topics such as infection control in health care facilities and risk communication.
- To discuss the local response as well as international response against communicable disease outbreaks |
