目的と概要

of Class | | 本講義は「EBM概論」と対をなすもので、実際の医学論文を取り上げ批判的に吟味することを目標とする。実際の医学論文を例に、1)文献のエビデンスレベルの評価、2)文献で用いられた解析手法の妥当性の検討(2-1：サンプル数の設計、2-2：統計手法そのもの、および統計手法の前提条件の吟味)、3)解析結果の解釈の妥当性の検討､などを行う。「EBM演習」で取り上げる論文については講義で指示するほか、受講生の興味も積極的に考慮する。講義の前半は、医学部循環器内科学分野と臨床研究推進センターの共催で行われる、医学統計勉強会の聴講を行う。
This course is successive to “Introduction to Evidence-Based Medicine” and aimed to examine clinical research papers. Based on clinical articles, students will learn 1) evaluation of evidence level of the article, 2) examination of analysis method used in the paper (2-1: sample size design, 2-2: statistical methods and its model assumptions), 3) examination of interpretation of the results. The articles used in the course will be assigned in the lecture. First half of the course is applied to auditing “Medical Statistics Seminar（医学統計勉強会）”hosted by the department of cardiovascular medicine and Clinical Research, Innovation and Education Center (CRIETO). |

study | | 前期の「EBM概論」で学んだ知識を基に、実際の医学研究論文の批判的吟味と読解を行う。受講生自身が選んだ論文をチェックポイントに従って読み込み、報告することで、EBMを実践するための方法の理解を確実なものとする。また、医学統計の基本的な内容についても、理解を深める。
Based on the knowledge learned in “Introduction to Evidence-Based Medicine”, students will examine and comprehend a clinical research paper. Students will confirm practical methods of EBM by reading and reporting an article selected by students themselves. Basic materials of medical statistics will be also discussed. |

the class | | 講義の前半は、医学統計勉強会の聴講を持って代える。勉強会は8回程度を予定しているが、時間、場所については追って連絡（＊後日グループウェアにて配信予定）する。抄読会形式で、事前に選んだ医学論文の輪読を行う。論文の選択は、受講生との相談のうえ決める。一週間前には論文を指定するので、各自読み込んだうえで講義に参加すること。
First 8 classes of the course is applied to auditing “Medical Statistics Seminar（医学統計勉強会）”. The schedule of the seminar will be announced later at the KYO-SHOKUIN Group-Were. In the second half of the course, students will report clinical articles that each one chose. The articles will be distributed one week before. |
